BLAAARRRG!!
Looks like no south pacific for me, I might get sent to west africa instead. The whole french thing and all. I was really looking forward to something tropical, I wasn't really hoping for desert. I need to stew on this for a while. It would still be quite the adventure, I was just looking forward to the islands. I guess I should be flexible. I just don't know how well I'd handle hot and dry. We'll see what they come up with. I dont' have to make a decision just yet.

I'd take hot and dry over hot and humid anyday.
Although it'd be more... fauna/flora-y in the tropic regions...
Yeah, I think I'd prefer a constant 80 and humid with lots of greenery to 100 and desert and dry. But not all of west africa is like that, so we'll see.
